Bellman constructions are looking for a new first year apprentice to join our current team of 5. We are a carpentry company that predominantly specializes in framing in the north/west suburbs of Melbourne. We also do a couple of higher end private jobs closer to the CBD per year. We currently have a build in East Brighton for example. We provide apprentices with all tools required for the job as well as a work uniform, if the apprentice completes their trial period and comes on full time. All that is required from them is some steel cap boots and your basic hand tools & nail bag. We will be giving apprentices as much hands on experience as they are ready for whilst providing them with the knowledge and safety procedures to complete tasks. We are looking for someone who is eager to work, listen and learn the trade of carpentry. Its then our job to show them how.
Work hours are generally 7:00am – 3:30/4:00pm Mon – Fri but can vary depending on circumstances such as weather or deadlines. We do work Saturdays from time to time if required though it would be a half day at most.
